wow, i'm impressed :eek: i really do have an nforce chipset, so i guess that's why. thanks about the info on the delay too, my only fix was to use that pointless boom app. i'll give voodooohda another try, because i don't really like the sound assertion errors i get with applehda :p

update your bootloader to the latest version and go for anvs Latest legacy kernel V8 R2 and the lags should be gone also check if AMC C1E is disabled in bios

ya i did that yesterday and i was happy because it didnt have that delay anymore. But this morning it came back... i think it had something to do with the fact that yesterday i unloaded applehda, and loaded voodoohda without restarting. Once i saw that the delay was gone i removed all the enablers and the applehda and switched to voodoohda then rebuilded caches, etc. Then this morning, delay again... Oh and about that option in the bios, i have a locked oem bios, i can only turn on or off a couple of things and AMC C1E is not one of them :(
