the only kext i would use is the one to get your drives functioning (for the install) put this in either s/l/e or the extra folder for chameleon to pick up on. But once you have done this you need to repair permissions on the extensions you have added. When booting if using chameleon 2 at the OS selector screen type -v -f -x then choose the drive you want to boot from. -V displays whats happening in text (verbose mode) -f (forces loading of all kexts to find matching hardware) dev_id's) and -x will run in say mode so any bad kexts wont be loaded.

Youll find this info in more places than you can type numbers. the permissions repair and -v -f -x are the same for all versions of OSX

So basically I just unzip my kext files to a folder then just copy all of them I need to the "Extra" folder then type these boot options (-v -f -x) and it should install my new kext files?

you need to copy them over as you say but then you need to repair the permissions of the kexts other wise they wont load correctly so you need to search on google how to repair permissions. Im not really going to explain the repair permissions procedure as its going off topic and its the one thing in the unix world you need to know how to do from a command shell otherwise it will cause problem after problem

Ok had enough of AMD Snow Leopard and I'm afraid today I'm going to the darkside.......... Yep thats right INTEL. Had issues with marvin and really strange issues with itunes (text fields missing). Its runs a treat on my girlfriends laptop. Heres whats going in the box Intel Core i7 860, 4GB DDR3 1600 and a Gigabyte GA-P55-US3. Will Post later on tomorow to tell you how I went on
