I think I may be having an issue with my chip set. I can't seem to find the right combination to get it loaded. However I did get it past the kernel panic stage a couple of time, but it just hung on the boot screen. I need a different flavor of this distro with more options, then I may be more successful.

Verbose Screen? :)

Well I finally got it to load, but I have no keyboard or mouse control. PS2 drivers are not working..grrrrrrr! No USB support either, so I have no clue how I am going to get that to work. I have limited options with this distro. Any ideas?

Oh yes all of the above. -V -X -F CPUS=1, I have tried them all, but nothing worked. No kernel panic that I could see, but it did have something to do with my USB Sleep. That much I am sure about. I do believe it has something to do with the ACPI option I am using, I just can't seem to get the right combination.

Okay I tried a different approach this time. I burned a new distro to my flash drive and booted to it using Chameleon and it boots fine, but once I go to load the distro on my hard drive my internal drive is not present? The system does not see my internal hard drive at all. If I boot from my old distro from DVD it does see the drive, but not booting from a flash drive??
Now I am getting a bit flustered..lol

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Okay followed the instructions on the post about creating a bootable flash drive. All has gone well so far. I still cannot get the system to recognize my keyboard or mouse once OS X loads? I am not sure why, but I will continue to choose different chipset drivers until I find the right combination. Are the keyboard and mouse in a laptop considered PS2 devices?

Thanks
