Installation successful but Sound and LAN are not working. Network card is detected but forcedeth reports the network is down, cable is unplugged. Sound is not detected at all. |

Video: Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 256MB PCI-e / GAINWARD Goes Hell RAM: 4GB DDR2 800MHz / OCZ PLATINUM HD: SATA II 320GB / WD 3200AAKS (leo) HD2: SATA II 320GB / WD 3200AAKS (data) HD3: Seagate 120GB IDE (data) DVD: Samsung SH-S202N IDE ------------------------------ perfect installation Best regards < - Zephyroth You're the Master - > ================ EDIT - 2 hours - after istallation =================== ISSUE : 100% usage of 1 core my CPU by syslogd - this process take 50% of my CPU performance at all - it's known issue ?! Solution by google (http://www.virb.com/schrader/blog/531389) it works, but probably isn't right way to fix ! ---------------------- EDIT - 4 hours - after installation =================== Previously solution doesn't work too long :( try this one (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act=Print&client=printer&f=125&t=73954) - seems to be ok for now, I'll be back with more after testing. ----------------------- EDIT - 24h after installation ======================= New installation of Leopard, this time I dont have any issues with "syslogD" process. --> testing |
