Which UseNet client are you using? Are you typing the NewsGroup name correctly-->alt.binaries.mac.cd-images

I'm not talking about Usenet, I'm talking about the Finder in MacOSX^^

Oh sorry, since you were talking about connect to server, I assumed you were referring about the connection difficulty to the NewsGroups. Is the Finder problem you are experiencing in the current release (10.5.2 Rev.2) or a previous release by Zephyroth?

It seems to be a problem with the Sync Server application.

Your suggestion to get a free news group ID/Password dont seem to work...
. Download Unison (http://www.panic.com/unison/)
2. Go to "http://astinews.de/xtest" and sign up for a Free Account
3. Check your E-Mail
4. Install Unison and enter the Login information that you received to your E-Mail by Astinews
5. Search for the Newsgroup "alt.binaries.mac.cd-images" and add it
6. Search for the files by zephyroth and start downloading :)

All I get is an error !!!

Has this been terminated? or is therre something I am not doing right?

Is there any other way to get Zephyroth's leopard rev2 right now?

Can someone post the NZB file on rapidshare. I'm checking everywhere but it just seems I can't find all of Zephyroth's packages. Zephyroth takes care of the first 21 files, then Hussein takes over. I don't know how this is possible. Also, there is a .par file missing as p-J had stated.

Hello Zephyroth and other Hackintosh team!
I'm downloading Zephyroth 10.5.2 rev.1 right now, but now, when about a half of rev1 release downloaded I see, that in second release there is a kext for ATI X2300. Actually, my graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon XT2300, maybe OSX86 gurus tell me, is this kext from Zephyroth's package will be suitable for me? This card is in Sony Vaio VGN CR11ZR notebook, C2D proc., is this important? I ask because now I'm using self-made kext created using insanelymac instruction, but it provides some terrible artefacts. And, the main question — maybe somebody upload this Zephyroth's package kext somewhere, I'll try it's compatibility with my laptop GC. I hope it won't be too irresistable for you, think you understand that it's quite stupid for me to download 4,5 GB iso for extractin' 100 kb kext, which can be incompatible with my GC.

May be its worth giving revision 2 a try as well? =)

Yes there are 9 par2 files but they aren't uploaded yet it seems, and i created the nzb with binsearch.info :)
Only Zephyroth files are in it ;)

The par files are only needed when one has download incompleted .rar files, so if they got it complete they should be able to extract the rar files

Yes that was my problem, im am unable to download part 3 and i dont have enough par files to repair it ( only 4 par files complete on the server)

Although I am uploading it, you know you can also download the particular file from the search results you gave to me from binsearch.info :D But its okay, I already have the Upload in process.

Could some of you that have already downloaded this from other sources please help seed this?

p-J, can you do me one last favor? Can you tell me what is the size of the 71st .rar file that you have downloaded? It seems small to me, 44.97 MB compared to 50 MB and above in the other files. Thanks. =)

did you have to use any of the .par files, or extracting the .rars was all that was needed on your side?

I used 4 par files to restore 12 damaged rar files, but im extracting the iso now ;D

Help on chain booting error anyone?

How can you tell if they are damaged, if the extraction process is unsuccessful? Will this happen to everyone? Or depending on connection?

Yes that depends on whether one could get all the parts, use macpar deluxe on osx to check your rar files ;)

Ok back again

The dvd now sees my hd an got a boot device, but after that i get the sam multimedia read write error.
Ill post this in the other thread aswell ;)

Significant errors are showing up now in everyone's experience. What's happening? Is there incompatibility errors? I hope my video card (NVIDIA 6600GT's 2xSLI) work as they used to with Zephyroth's previous releases along with QE/CI enabled. Anyone experiencing trouble with GUID install?

@P-j, how did the GUID configuration go for you? All went smooth?

@P-j, downloaded the release, all seems clean/fine to me. Will let you know how the install process goes. Hopefully "another" success. =)
