Which UseNet client are you using? Are you typing the NewsGroup name correctly-->alt.binaries.mac.cd-images

Quote:

[cite] mus1:[/cite]I have one strange bug:
Finder->Go To -> Connect to Server... doesn't work at all, no matter what I type in, it always says the URL would be invalid. I also cannot connect to smb-shares: "connection failed".
I guess these bugs may be related.

I'm not talking about Usenet, I'm talking about the Finder in MacOSX^^

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 12:01 AM

Oh sorry, since you were talking about connect to server, I assumed you were referring about the connection difficulty to the NewsGroups. Is the Finder problem you are experiencing in the current release (10.5.2 Rev.2) or a previous release by Zephyroth?

zephyroth 03-12-2008 12:08 AM

It seems to be a problem with the Sync Server application.

pαuℓzurrr. 03-12-2008 12:09 AM

Hey zephyroth :) Are you still uploading? Doesn't seem to be any progress on any index site?

Shadow3k 03-12-2008 12:12 AM

Im sorry but where is part001? I see only "Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI.part001.rar" yEnc, but it is uploaded by Ponchorancho. 8|

Downoaded it, extracted and MD5 is OK! = c460e58614b2074969983b03dbca00d7

Thanks, zephyroth! Going to test it on Phenom...

No luck for Phenom owners, or at least for me... :( the same reboot on startup of installation DVD. :(

Hi WinLinMac01,

Your suggestion to get a free news group ID/Password dont seem to work...
. Download Unison (http://www.panic.com/unison/)
2. Go to "http://astinews.de/xtest" and sign up for a Free Account
3. Check your E-Mail
4. Install Unison and enter the Login information that you received to your E-Mail by Astinews
5. Search for the Newsgroup "alt.binaries.mac.cd-images" and add it
6. Search for the files by zephyroth and start downloading :)

All I get is an error !!!

Has this been terminated? or is therre something I am not doing right?

Is there any other way to get Zephyroth's leopard rev2 right now?

Thanks,

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 01:31 AM

No one who can be kind enough to upload part 3 for me on rapidshare or similiar?
I'm only 1 part away :(

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 01:36 AM

Can someone post the NZB file on rapidshare. I'm checking everywhere but it just seems I can't find all of Zephyroth's packages. Zephyroth takes care of the first 21 files, then Hussein takes over. I don't know how this is possible. Also, there is a .par file missing as p-J had stated.

THANK YOU SO MUCH P-J. YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. Aren't there 9 .par files according to what Zephyroth had set? Or is it really not that necessary? I'll upload Part 3 once download is completed.

How did you create the NZB, through binsearch.info? or some other UseNET search engine?

Is this all of Zephyroth? Or is there Hussein in here too?

Hello Zephyroth and other Hackintosh team!
I'm downloading Zephyroth 10.5.2 rev.1 right now, but now, when about a half of rev1 release downloaded I see, that in second release there is a kext for ATI X2300. Actually, my graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon XT2300, maybe OSX86 gurus tell me, is this kext from Zephyroth's package will be suitable for me? This card is in Sony Vaio VGN CR11ZR notebook, C2D proc., is this important? I ask because now I'm using self-made kext created using insanelymac instruction, but it provides some terrible artefacts. And, the main question — maybe somebody upload this Zephyroth's package kext somewhere, I'll try it's compatibility with my laptop GC. I hope it won't be too irresistable for you, think you understand that it's quite stupid for me to download 4,5 GB iso for extractin' 100 kb kext, which can be incompatible with my GC.

May be its worth giving revision 2 a try as well? =)

The par files are only needed when one has download incompleted .rar files, so if they got it complete they should be able to extract the rar files

p-J, can you do me one last favor? Can you tell me what is the size of the 71st .rar file that you have downloaded? It seems small to me, 44.97 MB compared to 50 MB and above in the other files. Thanks. =)

I am also planning in creating a new torrent to get better seeding results for other users.

pαuℓzurrr. 03-12-2008 02:42 AM

Hmm i still need 36 blocks :(
ah well, zephyroth seems to resumed uploading par2 files, only a couple left and i will be able to repair :)

Edit: The file size is 43,3 MB and yes it's a bit smaller then the rest but that's because it is the last file :)

Edit2: Im missing 36 blocks for the complete rar file (I'm using quickpar for windows) so it's a bit different then osx i guess :)

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 02:43 AM

36/152 blocks left? am I facing the this same exact thing I am getting for the last file according to Unison, if you can just look at the 71st file listed in the picture attached.

Significant errors are showing up now in everyone's experience. What's happening? Is there incompatibility errors? I hope my video card (NVIDIA 6600GT's 2xSLI) work as they used to with Zephyroth's previous releases along with QE/CI enabled. Anyone experiencing trouble with GUID install?

@P-j, how did the GUID configuration go for you? All went smooth?
