Yes, this is what "default' implies. No choice selected = vanilla... sooo yummy

thnx,
just wanted to be sure :-d

erm, i have yet another (probably noobish) question.

Do I need to stay disconnected while I'm setting up os X after on first boot ever, so my information doesn't get sent to apple?

Does this matter? Will everything be ok even if I leave the ethernet cable plugged in ?

i've watched a clip where one guy said it has to be unplugged... maybe he was wrong ?

@vladrxpx.
Plugged or not makes no diff. At registration form you can press Alt or Windowz key and Q which will give you a "skip" choice. Leave Apple ID blank.

Hi,

just to make shure.... you're on AMD...are you aware that you must choose Voodoo kernel when in AMD or SSE2 systems? And in this case you must choose too Seatbelt 9.5 ...

tacapaca 03-04-2009 12:18 PM

yes, at every install i choose the 9.5 voodoo kernel, because i'am on amd. as i told you after a get the message to restart, i wait for several seconds and the i get the kernel panic. and when my pc boots, after i press the restart button on my case, sometimes it shows me only the apple logo, sometimes, the apple logo and that moving thing, and sometimes, but this is rare, it showed me a blue screen.

Thanks

I just wanted to put a quick thanks to all. I have many computers two of which I am running osx86, the one I am referencing in this post has IPC running very well. I am using a phenom 940 3.0 GHz overclocked to 3.49 GHz all four cores are enabled. I am using a Tpower N750 Biostar motherboard with stock video. I apologize if I posted the wrong post in the wrong area. It was emphasized that I post and I didn't really know where to put this so this forum seem most logical. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, I will reply in time.
