Try DVD-R DL

naquaada 02-25-2009 05:59 PM

The Dual-Layer image works best on an 8 GB USB Stick - an installation is finished in less than 10 minutes. But there are a lot of things to fix. I found the most things, but I still search a solution for the System Profiler problem.

A LiveDVD and installer in one ISO? Now that's gotta be the best thing since sliced bread or Leopard distros. :p
Thanks, pcwiz.

I bought a Verbatim DVD+R DL today and when i click burn disc in any burning program, it gives me an error. Some say write protected etc.

At the begin ,the instruction ask a " DVD -R" instead a "DVD +R" .

Could be this the trick? I got an error with the Leopard burner on GSA-h55N with a DVD +R too.

Yes it could be the trick. Get DVD-R and try it.

Install on a IDE

I only got the DVD -R today, and will try later.

Another question...can I install it on IDE hard drive or this version only on SATA?

Thanks

Should work on IDE aswell. It`s all case of kexts, but i think it`s SATA which sometimes doesnt work - think IDE mainly works.
