what are the par files?

WinLinMac01 03-11-2008 04:26 PM

There are three par files. I think they should extract as you extract the rest of the .rar files.

par files are an addition to the split rar archive.
one can use them for recovery if one rar is corrupt.
if all rar work, no par are needed.

[cite] WinLinMac01:[/cite]I just received some clarification from zephyroth everyone. Here is what he wrote to me.
Just to be safe,

There are 71 rar files and 9 par files.
The name is the same because I edited the previous ISO and didn't recreate one. (the script to make an EFI ISO was working fine with 10.5.1 but not with 10.5.2)
Don't take care about "ponchorancho" or "Hussein" I'm posting it with [email protected].

Still 19 rar and 8 par to upload.

Good job Zephyroth! =)
"Hussein" is me. Sorry I thought that uploading worked the same way as torrents. So I tried to upload (share) the first 26 file I had downloaded. I don't know why its showing my name for the other ones from 27 onwards. I don't even have those files yet.

Sorry if I have screwed something up :(
