not rewritable, and the slowest speed is 1x lol, im going with 5x think that will be slow enough?

oneshot 04-09-2009 02:18 AM

yeah 5x should definitely be slow enough. haha 1x would take like a day haha.

Hopefully it works this time!

When installing try and select as little as posable as lanceomni said.

Btw the first time I burned OSX it took me about 5 disks before I figured out how to burn my iso onto the disk correctly ^_^

Hopefully you don't follow my bad habits.

any ideas what im doing wrong? is my ISO bad? I burned at 5x...

lanceomni 04-09-2009 01:10 PM

Well he is burning it correctly but it still looks like a disk issue. If 5x isnt working try 1x. Even if the disk checks out after you burn it may still give you problems.

As of now you can narrow it down to one of three things:

1. The burning of the disk

2. The source disk IMAGE

3. The media itself (though these days you would have to buy some pretty low end media for it to cause problems like these.
