hello! good news! |
Bad News! It still takes me to shut my computer off the wrong way for my Hackintosh Lion to boot!

I read through as many posts as I could and tried a wide variety of different things to fix this problem but, I can't seem to get a large portion of apps to work (not sure if 64bit apps don't work or if 32bit apps don't' work). Cinebench says I'm on 64bit, Finder works. System information says I'm on 32bit. Kext Utility says I'm using i386.
This is my build... Code:
CPU: AMD FX-8120 Code:
<plist version="1.0"> Internet works. Everything that works is stable. I tried to use the AMD insn patcher, which didn't work. So I tried to see if they would work if I used maxmem=4096. Which is what I'm currently booted with right now, and they still don't work. Here is a paste of the crash. http://pastebin.com/TxHFzHHT I'd appreciate any help I can get. I'm really confused as to what I need to do. When I watch the systems logs I see there are a lot of things crashing in the background so I don't understand how it seems like things are stable. Here is a small snipped of the crashes seen in the console. Code:
Nov 12 22:20:18 Alexs-iMac com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.qtkitserver[13715]): Job appears to have crashed: Illegal instruction: 4 |
I just rebooted and here is a paste of my most recent kernel log.
Code:
Nov 12 22:23:47 localhost kernel[0]: npvhash=4095 |
I went back to 10.7.3 like a week ago, I'm pretty sure Amd is not too stable under 10.7.4 unless I'm doing something wrong. Also, my Mac side freezes if I leave it on for 10-15 hours period of time without doing anything like moving my mouse or typing. I have no idea why... I'm hoping my Hackintosh side isn't killing my Cpu and Video Card. I know those die over time, but I don't need that sped up by years.
