[cite] WinLinMac01:[/cite]@zephyroth, is there any reason I don't have the option to turn the translucent bar off in the Desktop and Screensaver Preferences?
Must have something to do with graphics card capabilities...

hi guys!
1st of all big thanks to zephyroth for the nice work!

i tryed 3 times to install the 10.5.2 release but i stuck after the installation!
it boots up till a big screen pops up over the grey apple with the content (reboot pc bla hold the power button in all languages)
may i have to select some custom packages during the setup process additional software/driver menu (ie lan-driver geforce-driver SSE3 kernel?) or can i leave it untouched?

my SYS:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+
2gb Ram
Asrock AM2NF3-VSTA
Chipset Nforce 3-250
Geforce 7300GT
100gb WD ATA

WinLinMac01

1 - Boot with the DVD.
2 - Press F8, then type "-s"
3- type "cd /usr/standalone/i386"
4 - type "dd if=./guid/boot1h of=/dev/rdiskXsY bs=512 count=1 (X is the disk number and Y is the partition number on which you installed Leo)
5 - type "dd if=./guid/boot0 of=/dev/diskX bs=400 count=1
6 - type "./startupfiletool -v /dev/diskXsY ./boot_v8"

GUID bootloader must be now installed correctly.

does not work for me. :(

type "dd if=./guid/boot1h of=/dev/rdiskXsY bs=512 count=1

say no such device

zephyroth 02-19-2008 11:15 PM

... Did you type rdiskXsY or as an example rdisk0s2 ?

macprodan 02-19-2008 11:15 PM

I types rdisk0s1

macprodan 02-19-2008 11:16 PM

it is a disk formatted as GUID single partition
