Hi there,

just to be sure ..will rev2 have SSE2-Support ?

Everybody seems to know about the FTP ... can anyone give me an account ?

Thanxx,

steffx

Steffx,

I'm sorry but the FTP is private (cause it is at my house) so i can't give you access.

The final version will be released as a public torrent. (i guess)

steffx,

EFI is not an alternative to MBR or GUID.

EFI is the "BIOS" of Mac.

On Hackintosh it's just a software which is installed on the boot sector and allow you to use stock kernel + stock kexts on Intel (almost the original Leo) and on AMD only original kexts (but a better stability).

It's hard for me to explain that precisely because as you know my English is not as good AS I would wish it (ouch don't know if it's English ...)

:-)

BTW, i'm uploading it from Mac OS that means i've managed to fix that damn upload freeze.
Don't know why but unload and reload forcedeth.kext at boot fix it.

When it's uploaded to Bonkey's FTP will it shortly be on the bay? Or is this just so other beta testers can download it.

Thnx :)

its still for beta testers :) , when rev2 will be finished it would probably be on a public torrent site..

ähhmmm .... thanks for your answer ... wasn't my question ..anyway :-)
will rev2 have support for sse2-systems (rev1 is not working on my system as it is sse2) ?

RC1 has no Support for SSE2, because there is no SSE2 Kernel included.
There are tutorials about how to replace the sse3 kernel with the sse2 one, and then one has to reburn the DVD.

I don't clearly know about RC2 and SSE2, please wait for zephyroth // edit: or DoiX : ) - to answer :D

DoiX 01-24-2008 01:45 AM

yes, rev2 will have sse2 kernel support :)

how about AGP? The attempt with RC1 was a bit... weird. I used ToH 9.0 Kernel which has SSE2 support. The OS was loaded, but I only got a blue screen with mouse cursor, and if I moded it in the lower right corner (I have Exposé there) there always came a bang out of the speakers ;)
