Yep, I'm having the same problem too - Kernel Panic on reboot. No amount of permission repair can fix the problem. I'm wondering if the Time Machine update is a prerequisite for this Kernel to be used?

I ran the update no problems but with pacifist -kernel & system.kext. But then had to run marvins and get patches before reboot.
But I assure you update installs fine without kernel. What it does is another matter!

Amazing. It works.
Thanks a lot.
Just one thing : it tells me that I have one core. Is there a way I can know if the cores are used ?

Thanks,

Disregard that. I can assure that both cores are indeed running. =)
