Is it just my or did anybody else notice that there system fan now runs all the time after installing this???
I just installed it on my laptop and now my fan seems to be on alot more??? Could just be me!

im having problems with the update....
Yes, with this kernel system is a bit faster, but i cant boot in normal mode, only with -v -f

I get a kernel panic if i boot in normal mode...

-v -f shouldnt change that, "-v -f" only tells it to show what normally loads in the background, -f forces extension loading and kernel caching i believe, i may be wrong.
So your still in normal mode once booted, just without the Apple Loading screen at boot.

I have all updates - including time machine update applied, i just dont use time machine though.

how did you install the time machine update???

I am very curious that some people are reporting that the kernel 9.2.2 and system.kext patch for AMD works. I have updated my perfectly working system and it broke it(wont boot, white apple screen with spinning gear). Well I yanked it out and I'm back to normal.

Lessons learned: If it aint broke, dont fix it ! LOL

Oh, btw...it has to be blessed Zephyroth or eddie11c before I use anything again !

Do i need 10.5.2 update before installing the new 9.2.2 and System.kext or can I do it straight from 10.5.1

One more question. Is sleep working with this kernel?
