As you can see, it is working now on my really crappy old P4 laptop without EFI. Definite progress, just a few more things to check into. |
hey Eddie11c, S.O.S.
am Able to Boot to the Install disk, I get these errors while on the Darwin screen local host kextd[47]: root filesystem is read-only; skipping kernel link data general local host diskarbitration[44]: unable to mount /dev/disks1 statuscode0x000000x47 local host diskarbitration[44]: unable to mount /dev/disks1 statuscode0x000000x0s5 local host diskarbitration[44]: unable to mount /dev/disks1 statuscode0x000000x4s6 local host diskarbitration[44]: unable to mount /dev/disks1 statuscode0x000000x87 it still takes me to the "Select a Language screen" the PS2 mouse & keyboard do not get recognized, the caps lock key does not seem to work too.. is the USB mouse & keyboard the best bet / or is it something to do with that error ? this is my second post by the way.. Thanks in Advance, waiting for you to help me further to Make my pc a Mac =p |
i am not sure, my laptop keyboard/trackpad work fine. Some PS2 controllers have issues though i believe. Those errors are nothing out of the ordinary, it can't mount NTFS drives by default. This is usually the cause of those errors.

Thank you for your quick reply...
The errors have nothing to do with the keyboard and mouse not working, is that right ? Trying a usb keyboard & mouse should be the next best thing, is that right too ? Thanks in Advance! |

A friend of mine has a P4 laptop with Realtek chipset, maybe even gfx. Do you think this could work? How about ATI X1150? |
