well! EVERYTHING is working fine BUT, any torrent client makes the system crash... after 10-15 minutes of download the HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON screen appears. I donīt know what to do... azureus, bitrocket, transmission, anyone.
any idea? |

I`ve installed Zethiroth`s 10.5.2 rev2 on my PC:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ MB Asus A8N SLI SE (with nForce4) Integrated Audio 0x005910de (ALC850) I`ve modified AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext so my dev id 0x005910de is now there. And now I have working audio... For microphone only! I have no sound on output or line-out. Only the input level (System preferences - Sound - Input) is now reacting on me (on my voice or other microphone sounds), but no sounds in output channel (there IS the "AC97 Audio (PCM)" line on System prefs-Sount-Output, there IS the output volume control in menu bar, but no sounds at all) How do I fix that? |

An update from my side. I installed once again using the same image as above, except I selected the 9.1.0 kernel, and the installation went fine. Works great. Still working on a few things such as drivers for my M-Audio Delta 1010LT. And getting the resolution to 1440 *900. Will probably need to install some extensions. Will update on this.

Most of the things work. My on-board sound card works just great. However, I am trying to get my m-audio card to work. Any hints on how to do this ? Drivers, kext etc I need to know of ? thanks for the help! |
update, I managed to install the drivers for my sound card and it works great. One question. Would the update to 10.5.6 work ? I am on 10.5.2 and hence the question. I have installed all the automatic updates except the 10.5.6 so any help will be appreciated. thanks!

kalyway hangs on 4 minutes remaining
i am trying to boot leopard using kalyway 10.5.2
my install hangs when it says me about 4 minutes remaining,even it do not click anywhere but the cursor is moving i used log and tried to resolve the problem but failed. last two lines of log were Running ifcstart running update_dyld_shared_cache also i need help for customisation. my pc does not have a model number because it has been assembled System configuration:- Intel(r) pentium(r) 4 Cpu 3.06 Ghz 512 mb of ram ATI radeon xpress 200 series Realtek RTL8139/810x Family fast ethernet NIC sound realtek audio output i am using -v at darwin's prompt media check did not displayed any errors |
