here how I install it!
unzip the download file, then rename mach_922 to mach_kernel and use pcwiz's kernel to install it use kext helper b7 to install System.kext (I did run kext permission for mach_kernel if need it) reboot and now I'm running 9.2.2 with out problem! this update fix my issue with reboot and shutdown. BUT I see only 1 Core with full core speed of 2.6Ghz. I have Dual-core 2.6 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ processor. I don't see any problem sofar, and I don't know if my Leo read 1 core it will make any different! |
Is this kernel PC_EFI only?
Couse I'm without EFI and when I use this kernel I get instant reboot system. |
i installed time machine update with software update, then pathed it in tiger, and replaced dsmos.kext, system.kext, and mach_kernel
|
got all the updates now
even the time machine one system seems alot faster |

before you restart you must run marvin's amd utility and decrypt the files
than put patches on your desktop than boot -s than type mount -uw / cd /users/yourusername/desktop/patches ./replace.sh ./patcher cpuid.txt quit reboot DOWNLOAD LINK http://www.mediafire.com/?5n0gbzyd1ym this is the patches folder for time machine update |
Properly installed the 9.2.2 kernel and system.kext and my system just hangs on boot.
I can boot with the 9.2.2 kext with my 9.2.0 kernel but my time machine doesnt work properly with either system.kext. It is making backups but i cannot enter time machine it just crashes finder. Any Ideas? |
thanks again. =)
