Nicely made buddy. Is it possible if you can make one for AMD Athlon uniprocessors? That would be greatly appreciated. I can't get my eye of the screen now. =p Kudos. The only suggestion I have is adding some more white to the letters,
A-M-D to give it more visibility. Rest appears to be find. Hackintosh should be Macintosh. It is literally the same thing now, =p . Its not too far that Apple will be pulling off the Mac-only label, lol. Thanks again. |

The Intel one is better, however the text can be different. It looks like "word art" you choose in Microsoft Word. These are only a few pointers/suggestions I am giving, if you don't mind buddy. The logo does look good, however, I think you emphasized the black too much (Core 2 Duo is too bold). A little bit of lightening should do and everything should be just fine. Amazing job you did, overall. May be you should upload Pixelmator here too in addition to your logo attachments. =)) For your AMD and Intel Logos, overall, I give it a 4/5. EDIT-> The AMD Athlon (Unicore) logo looks nicely laid out. Have you considered the lightening the D after A-M? I like your hard work, keep it up. =) Thank you. |

@WinLinMac: What do you mean with 4/5? If these are school notes this would be bad/very bad.
@bhast2: could you create for zephyroth cpu icons like this? The style with the round corners and the slight glass effect looks very good, not too agressive: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...0px-Phenom.png The actual Intel logos also look rather nice. But there are a lot of CPUs OSx86 supports. |
No no, 4/5 is right before pefect. 1/5 is bad. 4/5 is very good. =))

Cool, I used to have that one as my avatar once on another forum. Nice to see its being used. I think you should whiten OS X. Keep up the good work though, I should my own too and share it with you all. =p

Na, doesn't look good, there are too many things in one picture. The eye has no place to focus on it, neither the asymmetric placed Apple logo nor the AMD logo on the kinda 'motion-blur' perspective. The reflection of the logo has no real ground (compare with CoverFlow), and the 'OS X Version 10.5.2' destroys it at all. At least I would change it like this that the logo is not a straight square, it should have a gradient,a blur or a glow which matches smoothly with the background.
P.S.: The HUD style of the 'About this Mac' window is also on other system windows. Try holding 'ctrl+F12' for example. |
