Why is so quite here...

This is great forum, OSX86 is very popular,... and I'm wondering why is so quite here these days...

hmm, who knows ? maybe ppl are just not there or have no time to write ? maybe he relases are a lot better than before, with only a few problems to be fixed ? dunno :)

I think it has more to do with the new feel of the site. people might not be used to how to find what they want or be as involved because it isn't as easy to find the new problems people aren't having without doing a little work. That's just my opinion though.

I'm happy with the new feel of the site, just need to get used to it first :)

@ Voyn1x - Don't get to thinking I am putting down the site at all. I love the new "feel" to the site but it did take some getting used to. For example, I loved how I used to be able to just see the newly added to threads right away when logging in. This new "feel" is something that eventually wore off with time and I think people are starting to come back after finding out how much of a knowledge base there is here. We have an excellent and widely-diverse team at this site designed specifically for the AMD world.

^ I completely agree

Heh, don't worry i wasn't - us designers have quite thick skin

I agree to an extent, the forum is doing much better this last week. Google analyltics is showing some great stats and have you seen the stats in the footer? We've never had anywhere near 61 users online at one time on the old site!! :D

Btw. I've been finding the 'Todays Posts' in the quick links menu very useful, plus i have some tricks up my sleeve in regards to the newly added to threads... (though we do have that functionality already, albeit on the front page)

Haha... the perks of being higher on the totem pole ;)

I realized the "New Posts" link a few weeks after I made my initial comment about the site and have been using it all the time now. This forum is so much better than it used to be with all the new features. I'm just glad we have you all (dedicated individuals) willing to nurse a young site to something like this today.

(now it just sounds like I'm blowing smoke up your..... ) hmm. ok. nm. good job.
