If the drivers do not work, simply boot with -s and type ./RemoveGMA

i use iatkos v4.i (leopard 10.5.5) and this patch not work...
my screen still blank..

That is because this is for 10.5.6 only! It will not work on any other version.

for info on updating to 10.5.6 without any problems, PM me :)

What do you mean obsolete? There is no OSx86 release that has 10.5.7 integrated "yet"? Please re-upload the .pkg for this driver. I'm currently reinstalling iPC OSx86 (after many months) on a Lenovo R61 since I've found a solution to get AD1984 audio output working. Thanks.

As for those that are looking for an alternative .pkg to get the x3100 video working you may download the following attachment (at the provided link) but there is no guarantee it will work since I myself have not tried it. However, you can also visit the following thread for more info. - Cheers. =)

FINALLY! Wew... Had to remake them from original sources.. HD Went out on me and I lost everything! (Look on the bright side, the drivers have improvements :rolleyes:)

Hy, your drivers work very well on my samsung q45 but the screen duplication doesn't fuction..and..in there any way to get brightness controll with this card?

here's my conf :
thinkpad x61s (intel x3100)
ideneb 10.5.6

i tried your file to stop a bug that occurded randomly at startup : i got a blue and black screen with blinking lines and boxes, the system was stuck and needed hard reboot.

I installed succesfully your kext, it seemed better, but i had another one of this failed boot (still same blinking screen...). Do you know where it could come from?

Another question : vga out doesn't work, should it?

Hmm.... VGA Should work :-/

I think there was a little error when I packaged the files.

Try the abandoned LaptopNeeds Release:

Just deselect PowerManagement and AppleACPIPlatform and Install.

Yep, VGA Should work but NEVER EVER use Mirror Dispays :)

why? i was currently looking for the option!

It will result in Messy displays and you may need to reinstall OS X... Scarrry :-/

now everything works except sleep on my x61s

No problem :rolleyes:

Instead of using Mirror Displays, I do this...

1. Open System Prefs
2. Click "Displays"
3. Go to the "Arrangement" tab (with second display plugged in)
4. Drag the little white bar to the external display

You maybe able to fix sleep with a DSDT, but I wouldn't know too much about that.
