Roisoft, your solution was not stable, the system now doesn't freeze anymore, but sometimes crashes and ask for reboot...
With the cpus=1 flag everything works again and is solid rock... Do you think it have something to do with fact I don't use automatic DHCP and I insert IP address manually? I have to do that way because for opening ports in the router I have to have a fixed IP address... |
I don´t think so....I have A8n32-sli and my system is solid rock..try to install EFI, efi contributes to the system stability

I have download and installed forcedeth_nockd.kext from the wiki and everything now seems to work fine, no freezes and no reboots

@raisoft : I plugged an apple 30 inches and a damn french usb keyboard which doesn't give me access to all keys. But it's the same box as on the pics :)
Since I tried to install Nvidia and forcedeth, everything is broken. It freezes on boot without error. Maybe it's the NIS access without a network card ? I asked Zeph's to test 10.5.2 on this computer two weeks ago, but he didn't reply. I hope that I will get less problems with this version. iero. |
@ what chipset, ethernet and what graphics card do you have?
|
I relaunch a fresh 10.5.1 install. I will give you results of Xbench when it will be done.
It will be a Leopard box only. No other OS. iero. |
