Hello... first of all thanks to Zephyrot for his great work...
Then... I can boot only in safe mode... Now i'm writing in safe mode... all seems to work, except for audio, even LAN that was a pain on tiger. But i can boot only with -x flag. If i boot normal... and -v "still waiting for root device" or in graphic mode i can see a stop signal over the apple... Did you install drivers for your graphics card?
|
Yes.. installed inject 512 and nvidia drivers 10.5.2 (the first voice)
|
Did you check that your device ID is included in nvinject, geforce.kext nvdaresman.kext nvdanv40hal.kext?
|
Do you think it's a graphic board issue? but it's working perfectly in safe mode... 1680*1050 and in system info there is:
Graphics by NVIDIA: Modello Chipset: Graphics by NVIDIA Tipo: Monitor Bus: PCIe Larghezza Lane PCIe: x16 VRAM (totale): 512 MB Fornitore: NVIDIA (0x10de) ID dispositivo: 0x0392 ID revisione: 0x00a1 Revisione ROM: NVinject 0.2.0 Monitor: SyncMaster: Risoluzione: 1680 x 1050 @ 60 Hz Profondità: Colore 32-bit Core Image: Software Monitor principale: Sì Mirror: Spento Online: Sì Quartz Extreme: Non Supportata Mostra connettore: Stato: Nessun monitor collegato |
Its not working perfectly you don't have quartz extreme.
I would check those kexts I bet you dont have your device ID in all of them |
Can i use the same kext i used in Tiger? i think were titan drivers...
|
Yes you can gipo
|
i'll do it this evening when i'll be home from work... anyway Zeph... this a great work!!! Thanks again...
Another problem (i'll try to resolve in a second time...) is the death screen that appear sometimes, maybe the lan drivers. Another question for moderators... is it not possible to put a signature in profile? just to write in all the specs about hardware of our pc... |
Nothing to do... i rebooted a hundred times, changing kexts, installing the old tiger kexts, installings punk's92 new drivers... nothing.
In installation must i check nvinject 256 and 10.5.2 pack or only one of them? Anyway my id is 10DE 0392 (from gpu-z)... where must i add this info and i which files? Is it surely a graphic driver's problem? i installed the mbr bootloader because i think (there is a way to understand if it is mbr or guid in this moment?) it was so in tiger... i formatted partition and installed Leo, i don't want to partition hd 'cause i've got a lot of stuff on it. |
You must select both nvinject 256 and 10.5.2 pack.
You can add your dev-id in GeForce.kext/Contents/Info.plist but if it's 10DE 0392 you must add 0x039210de in the Info.plist. |
Can add it in safe mode... with plist editor then remove kext cache and reboot? if now it's ok system must come up in normal mode?
Thank zeph. |
Yes GIPO.
|
I added the id to geforce.kext but no boot... then i extracted kexts from tubgirl release of tiger and installed, now system boot in leo. No Quartz Extreme... in tiger QE was supported... tiger kexts are differents from leo's ones?
Is it possible to put my id directly in dvd iso? if is it possible in which file? A strange thing... in safe mode my ethernet lan was discovered (but sometimes kernel panic) in normal boot no way to see it... |
Is it possible to put my id directly in files on dvd iso? if it is... in which file?
|
Strange... in safe mode my ethernet lan was discovered (but sometimes kernel panic) in normal boot no way to see it... and, worst, even usb router it's not recognised, so no way to go online.
Anyone with m2n32 sli deluxe having internet access on leo? Then i ask again Is it possible to put my id directly in files on dvd iso? if it is... in which file? |
resolved lan problems with a cheap pci card... an intel 82558 working OOB.
No more problems about unplug power cord to reset mac address and so on. I reinstall Leo again in a Guid partition, efi guid bootloader, ticked inject 256 and nvidia drivers 10.5.2 but start again in safe mode only. My id (0x039210de) was present inside files, is there something else to delete or add? |
