WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 03:36 AM

Here you go everyone. This should help: http://binsearch.info/?b=Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI&g=alt.binaries.mac.cd-images&p=zephyroth-osx86%40hotmail.fr&max=250

Create NZB (all .rar files) and you should be set to go. :D

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 03:41 AM

In the following link is a NZB I created for everyone to use to download Zephyroth's new release within their UseNET Client. Way faster than torrent.

http://rapidshare.com/files/98823774/1205276199.nzb.html

Enjoy!

kisho 03-12-2008 05:08 AM

hey WinLinMac01,
i have followed your guide on this website http://mac.kbot.de/leopard-1052-amd-efi-rev2/ is the same as the website u gave us this website http://binsearch.info/?b=Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI&g=alt.binaries.mac.cd-images&p=zephyroth-osx86%40hotmail.fr&max=250

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 05:12 AM

Yes it is. However, you still need an account (sign up for a free temporary UseNET account at the link provided at the guide), then use the NZB file I created to download the 71 .rar files. Its easier. Let me know how it goes.

http://rapidshare.com/files/98823774/1205276199.nzb.html <--open this with any UseNET client, i.e. NewsRover, Grabit (both for Windows), or Unison (for Mac OSX).

kisho 03-12-2008 05:16 AM

can u please tell me how to download the NZB file

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 05:17 AM

visit the link I provided http://rapidshare.com/files/98823774/1205276199.nzb.html, click on free, wait for the download progress to start, type the code listed in the box (since this is a free version you are using of rapidshare), and click on download or whatever is there to initiate the download sequence. After that, open the NZB file with any UseNET software you have installed. Don't forget you need an account to use the UseNET client and connect. =)

kisho 03-12-2008 05:19 AM

ok i will try that

kisho 03-12-2008 05:22 AM

ok thanks i got it to download them. But i have another question after this is done i can burn it right?Because the last one i downloaded was like 85 files and this is only 71.Any difference

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 05:27 AM

The last one had extra files included just in case you were missing files (these files are known as .par), they are used to recover any damaged files. However, now with these 71 files in hand, you should be able to open the first .rar file, and open that with UnRARX. The Rar utility will extract all 71 files automatically and you should see an .iso appear in the same folder where all of the files were downloaded to. The name of the .iso is: Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI-Rev2.iso

kisho 03-12-2008 08:19 PM

WinLinMac01 what is the size of the .iso i got 3.31GB is that right if it is can you tell me what i should burn this with and what speed. Thanks

kisho 03-12-2008 08:21 PM

i mean when you extract does it give you 4.6GB

kisho 03-12-2008 08:33 PM

hey i got a corrupt file because i lost connection and now when i try to get connection it wont get connection wat do i do

WinLinMac01 03-12-2008 09:46 PM

You will have to download that specific corrupt file again (that is causing the extraction process to fail). give me the the .rar file name for that specific file, and I'll create an NZB and post the link here shortly. The .iso size is 4.38GB

kisho 03-13-2008 12:35 AM

but can u still tell me if those specs are enough to run Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI-Rev2
please others wise it will be pointless downloading it

WinLinMac01 03-13-2008 12:46 AM

I would only be concerned about the following hardware:
Video: NVIDIA GEFORCE 6100 (Integrated)

SwiftDisc only works with PC's (Microsoft Windows XP & Vista Onyl) =)

kisho 03-13-2008 12:47 AM

no i mean can my specs work so that i can install Leopard
and what do u think i should do about my video card?

WinLinMac01 03-13-2008 03:28 AM

I think it can still work. First install Leopard and tell me if there are any problems. If not, then you are set. There is resolution integrated video card in Zephyroth's previous releases, but I think that fix has been included in the latest one, 10.5.2 Rev.2. Let me know how it goes. :D

WinLinMac01
The torrent is taking forever.
can't download from the newsgroup because my username and password expired what should i do?
Please help me!
Edit: it gives me this message: Astinews the affordable highspeed Usenet provider
Leider können Sie sich nur einmal für unseren xTest Zugang anmelden.

WinLinMac01 03-13-2008 06:56 AM

Initially, I thought you did download from the NewsGroup. Its http://astinews.de/xtest <--enter your email address there, check your inbox and input that information onto the UseNET Client and there you go.
Use the guide I posted at mac.kbot.de

The user who posted the torrent claimed that there were over 20 seeds now. What happened to that user? Has he flown to Neverland, lol. =)

kisho 03-13-2008 06:58 AM

i did then my compute got messed up so i had to reinstall it and im in windows right so can you please help me download it again.

WinLinMac01 03-13-2008 06:59 AM

okay, first download newsrover. google it, then when you are done installing, enter the information you received from astinews. from there instead of going into alt.mac.images just use the NZB file I uploaded on rapidshare.de, then you are set. 71 files=total.

o last question can i pause this and resume it again tomorrow.

WinLinMac01 03-13-2008 07:06 AM

Yes you can, but it can make it vulnerable to corrupted files. I would suggest you to download all at the same time.
