Video files volume adjustment

I'm searching a tool which allows to batch change the audio volume of videos files.

I have a lot of movie files, mostly in .avi/divx format, but they are much too quiet in comparison to iTunes or to other audio sources (VLC, web browser, system audio effects). I need a tool which adjusts the volume setting to an defineable value, so like MP3Gain for MP3's or iVolume for iTunes.

Would be interesting if such a thing did exist. Closest thing I know of to this would be some handy work with VirtualDub, but that's a Windows-only program.

If you haven't tried it yet, Avidemux will do this....

It has a joblist so you can process in batches, and can pass-thru the video track so you avoid unnecessary time-consuming (and crappy) re-encodes.

Gain can be set in Audio>Filters.

Hope this helps you :)
