Please look here for more info. |
PPF2 didn't work on my SB600 chipset. Tried about every single setting in my BIOS possible.

As for the Alternate bootloaders, do I have to select both those options or just one? If just one, which one do I select? I am confused about it.

EDIT: After a look into the SB600 drivers, the devID's are apparently missing. These will be added in a new PPF. It wont be right away, though. As soon as it's done, I will post it. Quote:
Installing both could prove fatal, never install two of the "same" thing. |
Reporting ;) patching with the second PPF for SB600 works, installation goes very quick, and as for now - it`s working. Too early to say hurrah but 10.5.6 is working on my pc with no problems ( yet ;) ). The only problem is that AppleACPIBatteryMeter.kext causes kernel panic after minute of OS working ( when installed from dvd ) or screen turning off after few minutes when i install it manually from my previous os - i have no idea how it`s related to the problem, but it appears only with this kext loaded - so no battery meter for now. Big thanks for the release and for the patch guys.

There is something called the "PowerManagement Package" underneath the Power Management category. Install this for working battery meter

Link to second PPF file is invalid. Anyone else have an alternate link?
