iChat in Zeph 10.5.2 Rev.2 is pretty much unusable except for seeing who is online. I can't message anyone, and when I go to Preferences/Messages the chat bubbles are missing and everything is just not working. I double click on a contact and I get the chat window but it's not actually for anyone, it is blank. And every other time it crashes iChat when I double click on a contact. It used to work on previous installs. And the only thing I changed was I got a new video card, (8800GT 512mb, working using EFI string) and reinstalled fresh. I have all the updates installed but the 10.5.3 update. I am using the 9.3.0 kernel, default SMBIOS that came with the DVD.

yep there are a few bugs with Zeph release
i had the same errors with ichat msn and a few others
so i started using a different distro

I tried those but then I could never get Toast 8 or 9 to work. Always crashes. Is there a release with all the software working? :D

Try Zephyroth's rev1 release. I had the same problem with iChat in rev2 and with rev1 it works perfect. Don't know why? I eventually switched to Leo4all V3 myself, and everything works fine for me with that release (even Toast 9).

I'll try loading Leo4Allv3 on my test partition, if that doesn't work I'll try Rev1.

Leo4All it up and running, seems good so far, all my apps are working, though I still get a StartUpFailure with iChat once in awhile. Mouse still stutters and lags during file transfers though. Successfully updated to 10.5.3 too. Running EFI GFX String for my 8800GT
