I have imported my mails from Windows Mail to Mail.app, but I have them on an imported folder and I can't move them to my inbox.
I have tried to move the mbox files to the folder of my mail with finder but didn't worked. Do you have any walkthrough for this or this is the way that Mail.app handles the imported messages? Also Mail.app can't store the password, which is minor but if we could fix that it would be nice :-) |
Hi ToroLoco,
You can fix the password/keychain bug like this. I don't know how to solve the other issue, sorry. |
What happens if you manually select all the mail and drag it to your inbox? AFAIK that should work.

Puttabong thx I will fix the pasword. and yess I mean the mail.app sorry for the confussion.
Regarding the move of the messages it doesn't work like this. It refuses top move the mail folders into the mail inbox and also I can't create folders in my inbox. |
Ah ok, i see what your trying to do, you can't make subfolders in the inbox in mail. That's not how it works which is why you can't drag folders to it.
You should see an 'On my mac' folder on the left. That's where your folders should go. If you want to make a new mailbox, go to the mailbox menu at the top and select 'New Mailbox'. You should see from that how the folder system works. Hope this helps! :) |
Now I got it, thx Voyn1x. So I will leave it as it is.
