Hi gsoler, welcome to the forum.

Which release have you installed? LawlessPPC's is the only AMD version that will work with Phenom.

If you are using the LawlessPPC release then boot with the -v flag so it enters verbose mode and let us know the error it hangs with.

if not sufficient because, the other lines move very fast Voyn1x there is some form of control or freeze the screen to read everything?

I think the information is not very clear, but believe me it is very difficult for my Recon in which many lines or what mistakes or failures of the installation.

by the way, did you install in mbr or guid?

Looks like it could be something to do with your sata drivers.

If you can, try changing your SATA mode to Legacy IDE in your bios and see if that helps.

Otherwise i'm not sure, you could always try a different IOATAFamily.kext or install to an IDE drive if you have one?

I think he is talking about the boot process hanging on the blue screen that is displayed just AFTER the boot messages and just BEFORE the Desktop is painted...

I've had the same thing happen to me when I swapped video cards and the video drivers weren't correct. The boot process just stops on the blue screen and never gets to the Desktop.

I think it's video card or .kext related, but I don't know what to tell him to fix it other than re-install - NOT loading any video "drivers". Then try to load video .kexts AFTER he gets a sucessful boot...
