The Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3x Control Center is dedicated to allow easy installation of fixes and drivers with only a few clicks. It works fine with Gigabyte GA-(E)P35-DS3P/DS3L/DS3R/DS4.

All the resources are in the application itself so no extra downloads needed, except you need to install CHUD.pkg for the shutdown fix to work. Download the app here (8.3MB compressed, 22.2MB uncompressed).

Just to update anyone using this, shutdown and restart fix has a better option

With this I not only have shutdown and restart but also s3 sleep works properly "as in suspend to ram".

can't enable working audio with Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3x Control Center

I've got Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3l and install iatkos 5i 10.5.5
Evrything works fine but audio don't

I try to enable audio with Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3x Control Center, and it add:

Intel High Definition Audio:

Device ID: 0x1458A002
Audio ID: 12
Available Devices:

(try both 888 and 889)
no sound and no audio devices

method of Λύκος give me working stereo and mic but no devices in sys info

1) Get AppleHDA Patcher v1.20 from here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.p......st&id=18636 (should download atuomatically)
2) Drop it into your Applications folder
3) Go here: http://psykopat.free.fr/apple/AppleHDA/realtek/ and on alc888.txt . Right-click it, save as.
4) (no changes for me) Drag alc888.txt (or whatever you saved it as) and drop it onto the AppleHDA Patcher application icon (do not launch AppleHDA Patcher first, just drag and drop the text file onto it).
5) Once it's done, reboot. Should work 100% for a GA-P35-DS3L.

Can you please share with us which options you selected for your ga-p35 mainboard? A lot of people seem to have troubles installing iatkos 10.5.5 on Gigabyte P35 mainboards.

Furthermore: try the Universal Installer UIinstall of pcwizcomputer.com. This has downloadable plugins, and also contains some Gigabyte P35 boards.

You can give it a try....

But don't forget: it's very important for the community to know what settings you used for installing.

I install iatkos 5i to non system 500gb seagate
and switch boot drive with F12 (windows xp on promise sas raid)

select that options:
- pci efi v9
- apple decrypt
- smbios-efi
- 9.5.0 kernel voodoo
- disabler kext
- ohr
- vga efi string for my video - (only that mode it works full for me - no select drivers)
- intel sata
- intel speedstep b
- realtek 8139
- broadcom440x - select both - woks fine (one of them but don't know - select both)

PS
Before that, i try jas 10.5.4 and cant get qwartz extreme for video (even screensaver like slideshow) but it runs bf42 ask for serial and give a black screen. razer mouse work terrible little better with steer mouse
Now video work full and smooth, mouse works much better from the start, but bf 42 wont go even with black screen or ask for serial
may be sound device can help?
