Cant start an Installer ( Wow BC Installer )
 
Hello,

after countless time , i have managed to install OSX and bring up working everthing....

The i download the newest WOW BC installer from WOW-europe.com.

When i doubleclick it... nothing happens. The Icon flash´s , and it do nothing.

I have Patch my Rosseta , but i dont think this is the problem , becouse the Installer should be a Intel Nativ application.

My System :

Amd Opteron 170
IDeneb V1.3 10.5.5

Can someone pls help me ?

I have replaced the "translate" file in /usr/libexec/oah/ with the file from macbook's leopard,and now i can run the wow.
What is your mother language?

Hello,

i have download a nativ version of Rosseta , translate does work. That is not the problem.

Have you got full QE/CI enabled on your graphics card?

Yes.

That is my Problem....everything looks fine. Sound , Network, HDD , everything.
And that there is NO Error message. Nothing. Just the blink of the Icon , and thats it.

k, found a Error Message in the Console :

02.10.08 21:22:39 com.apple.launchd[101] ([0x0-0x1a01a].com.blizzard.Installer[165]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

I hope someone can help me.

I get the same error and im on intel, i wasn't able to find a solution but the strange thing is that on zeph's first beta-release the installer worked. I was lucky enough to find on the bay 2.4.3 already installed .dmg file

Mh , i think i have a biger Problem. Tryed to Install Colorvision , get an Error :

I allready run Marvins AMD Tool ,but it does not found anything usefull. No Encryptet Binaries.

I hope someone can help me.

Ok , found a Bugfix for IDeneb Carbon Framework , Colorvision works great now.

But... i cant life without my WOW !! ^^

Good Morning...

i dont know what i have done , but it works!

IMHO , i dont do anything. I just played a bit with the OS , surf a bit , Download ASU , but does not start it.

I have no Idea. Can some try to bring some light into the Darkness ?
