ALC850 & Digital Optical Out
 

Well I have a A8N-SLI Premium motherboard and I have successfully installed the Zephyroth 10.5.2 Rev.2 months now and it's perfectly working with all the drivers from the install. No need to touch anything.
I have it updated to 10.5.5 with Zephyroth's Software update.

No my problem is that I have connected my PC with my amplifier with an optical cable which works perfect under Windows Vista. Is there any way to enable it from Leopard?

Anyone that could help???

I have an ALC850 and optical SPDIF shows up but i haven't tested it. I'm using the standard ALC850 drivers from Leo4Allv4 which i've attached below :)

thx for the drivers but they don't work for me. Ok I suppose that I can't have it all...

It is strange, the driver doesn't work on my mobo either. Everyone who has this mobo but myself can get it to work? Something must be causing it to fail.

If there are any ideas...

But it's strange that on some mobos the driver to work and on other not to work.
