Sound isnt working
when i turn on my computer starts up and then the sound cuts out after i open another application, i think it is something to do with my sound driver. So i think im going to try to reinstall my sound driver but i cant find the link anywhere, i have a Realtek ALC850 Driver, so i need someone to provide me the kext download :) or if there is another problem please help me fix this.
Thank you |
does anyone have the alc850 kext? Please I really want my sound back. :(

thankyou fir the reply. Unfortunently being the impatient person I am I tried I restore a time machine backup to see if that would help. I did that and it said it had succesfully restored but now when I restarted my computer it doesn't load up OS X. It just hangs at the part before it where it searches for bootable DVD's. Is there something I am missing? How can I fix this? Or have I killed my hackintosh :S

Time machine doesn't restore the bootloader. Try to reinstall chameleon via another bootable install (if thats an option) otherwise use PC_EFI to at least get back to your HD then reinstall chameleon.

ok thanks. and how do i go about reinstalling chameleon?
|
You can boot using the install dvd's bootloader. Just leave it in the drive and don't press anything. Once you reach the desktop, download and run the chameleon pkg installer :)
