Restart Problem
 
Anytime i go to restart everything shutsdown but my pc stays on and it dont restart i can shutdown no problem im using voodoo beta2 kernel and i know its not that its a problem with ideneb cause kalyway worked fine with voodoo if anyone has the same problem or knows the answear help would be wonderful ive got an amd athlon x2 4.2 and an amd 780g chipset with no other problems

what happens when you use the default kernal instead of the voodoo kernal?

Same thing i have no idea whats causing it

hmm unusual. so when your in -v mode and you restart what messages does it come up with?

here is my log around the time i restarted like i said my moniter powers down hard drives etc.. but it never restarts

may be yours dash board causes problem.

did you try this openhaltrestart.kext and AppleACPIPlatform latest Buid

sometimes , VGA and Sound Kexts cause problem.

i know taruga hda patch stops mine from shuting down

How do i get rid of the taruga patch? Do i need to restore my original AppleHDA.kext? Thank u guys for all your help so far
