nforce 790i
 

Hi there,

Can i install mac os x on a nforce 790i motherboard. i checked http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/in...2#Motherboards but they are for 10.5.2 and there is no 790i. i realy wish that it can work...

if there is no way to do that, i am gonna buy Asus Maximus II Formula (i rather striker II) but i also think about Rampage. To be honest i just dont know what to do.

So i will be greatful if you can give me some suggestions.

According to someone from the InsanelyMac forums, it is possible to run Leopard on a 790i ultra motherboard, although it is difficult. I myself have a striker II Extreme, and boy, its giving me HELL! I tried sata AND ide and no success. on the insanelymac forum theres a thread regarding leopard on 790i mobos, it has a jpeg/pdf of the bios settings that might help. I hear Leo4All works the best with these motherboards, but im unsure.

well i am using maximus 2 formula now. It is really cool and everything works fine in ideneb 10.5.5.

But i couldn't install ipc 10.5.6 yet.

hi all i need some help in finding & installing the kext for my motherboard

this is all in safe mode
I have installed Mac with Iboot 2.0 ver 10.6.3 and then install update 10.6.4 & rebooted. Then installed 10.6.5 & 10.6.6 & BridgeHelper and rebooted and thats where i am stuck in safe mode with no Ethernet or sound
