A couple of Apps terrible slow ...
 

Hello,

the system is snappy, but a couple of apps are really slow.
E.g. RAR Expander, Flip4Mac.

Is this a known problem and how to solve?

Gigabyte SB700 MB + Phenom Quad-Core, Leo4Allv4.1

Try installing the attached kexts with OSX86Tools (Google it or PM me if you don't have it). I had some programs act pokey without it, but in my case, it was mostly Firefox hanging every time I looked at it funny. And my system felt zippy before I installed it, too. Now, it's smokin'.
