Need Drivers for Gateway M 6862 laptop
 

Hi,:)

I have a GATEWAY M 6862 laptop,
Tried installing iATKOS v4.1i. Had problems finding drivers for ATi MOBILITY Radeon HD 2600 512MB ram, SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec, Realtek 8101E.

Any suggestions if any other versions of OSX would run completely with Qi/Ce working and sound working? Where could I get it? I've attached Everest Hardware Report.

Someone more knowledgeable should tackle this to confirm, but I doubt that model Sigmatel's getting a sound driver.

Try looking for "AzaliaAudio.kext". That might get your sound working if there's no specific driver for your sound.
Now about that internet...got money for a USB dongle? It's probably your only choice.

Thanks, any suggestion for the ATi MOBILITY Radeon HD 2600 card .....??? Tried almost all the drivers available for the different ATi cards.

I have a M-6864FX, or the FX version of your laptop.
I can help you get sound working and I can help you get the graphics to work in normal mode.
