Help with 10.5.6 update

Hey all, new here to these forums, but I'm a long time OSx86 member/user.

Here is my problem: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.p...post&p=1002356

My update went HORRIBLY wrong, causing me to reinstall from the stoneage.

I had my DSDT.aml properly patched (btw, is it supposed to be /dsdt.aml or /DSDT.aml ?), Voodoo 9.5.0 kernel, and I updated to 10.5.6 by installing via pacifist so I could avoid some kexts (the usual culprits, Dont Steal Mac OS X [even though it's blocked by the kernel], AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext [diabler installed despite]), and to avoid the kernel being screwed over just in case.

Here is a picture of the result in -v: http://i44.tinypic.com/2dra1yq.jpg

I couldn't get into -s or -x.

As you can see, I am assuming my DSDT worked, as I installed the 10.5.6 AppleRTC.kext, and no kernel panic occured.

Any ideas?
I heard that I should have no problem if I don't update System.kext to 9.6.0 from 10.5.6. However, I was really traumatized by my experience with 10.5.6 and having to start from scratch again (and I mean barebones 10.5) that I really don't want to risk it again... >_<

Got it fixed yet?

the System.kext update won't matter and depending on the kernel you'll use, just be careful to include the proper kext files to avoid any KP's...

note: DSDT is not implemented on 10.5.6 final release... only the beta... so you don't have to worry about this.

Yeah, I got the issues resolved when I was testing iPC with pcwiz.

The first issue was with my graphics card: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.p...&#entry1007712

Once that was fixed, I found this out: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.p...&#entry1007831

The second I've simply come to realize that it's an incompatibility with my old card and a new core component with 10.5.6 while getting use of it still with 10.5.5 kexts. Updating my card to a "newer" (lol, AGP) will more than likely solve both issues.
