iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Configuration Help
I need a Install Configuration for iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Distro
My hardware configuration is: Motherboard: Intel i865g CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.06 3.06 HT Ram: DDR Dual Chanel 2x512mb Video Card: nVidia NX7600GS Sound Card: - Incorporated: AC' 97 - Card: Sound Blaser Audigy 2 HDD: Western Digital WD1600AAJS 160GB Optional details: 2 LCD Monitors: - Primary: LG Flatron L1919S - Secondary: iiyama ProLite e380S USB Keyboard and Mouse: Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 Speakers: Shock Wave SC-2105 Microphone: soundMAX Superbeam Power Supply Unit: Allied Premiere DR- 8400BTX (max 400W) Case: Raidmax Sagitta 3 Coolers (2 used - front and back) Thanks. |

Your motherboard uses an intel chipset so first try installing nothing else but the voodoo kernel. Worry about audio and video later. |

well I wouldn't phrase it like I did if I wasn't led to believe that you were asking for a step by step method... if you've installed from another distro then you would have an idea of what your system might need, right?
what configurations HAVE you tried? I'm not trying to be condescending, I'm trying to get a feel for where you are coming from with these questions... it helps me get a feel for how you want to be answered. |

I have iPC and have tried so many other distros and have had no success. I will take nfoav8or suggestion and just try the kernel without anything else. I have read on insanleymac that this board is supported(Intel D865GLC) but you have to get the combonation. are your highest instruction(cpuz) ssse-2??? nfoav8or--Are you talking about the 9.2.0 kernel or the 9.5.0 kernel??
