HP DV6408nr - Best Distro?
 

Does anyone know what the best Distribution is now for a HP Dv6408nr? I haven't tried installing osx for a while now, due to the problems with the track pads plus extremely long boot time, but I figured things may have changed and gotten better now..

Any suggestions?

the HP Dv6408nr uses the nForce4 Chipset and also has the GeForce 6150 graphics card built-in (which doesn't provide CI/QE BTW). Leo4Allv3 is a good starting base although if you are looking for the most up-to-date distro that "might" work iPC Final Ed. is another direction you could go.

I'd personally use Leo4Allv3 and then update it using the voodoo kernel and Apple Updates to get the most up-to-date system.
