Realtek USB WLAN Client Utility Help
I'm trying to get my wireless lan to connect to my secured router it's using WPA2 Personal and I can't for the life of me get the thing to connect to it.
It sees that it's using WPA2, I put in my password and the wireless signal drops in and out. Anyone using the Realtek USB WLAN Client Utility get it to connect? Thanks! |
BUMP!
Anyone? |
Realtek on non-Windows is really tough to get working on anything other than unlocked or WEP protected networks.
For best results, invest in some broadcom based wireless device, it will be detected as an Airport card and will probably work much better. |
Thats what I figured, just wanted to hold off buying somthing until it was a last resort.
Thanks Hara. |
Will I have any problem getting PCI cards working on my hack?

Not at all. Expansion slots work fine (my AverTV Media card is detected, I just wish it was supported lol).

Ahh okay I wasn't sure since my Auzenteh X-Fi Prelude sound card has never been detected, although I knew it wasn't supported. Anyway thanks kindly.
