I have Laptop - Acer Extensa 5210 and i already installed the iATKOS v1.0i and the problem i had was that i had a sound but not thru the line-out (headphones).... was wierd.. the sound was only in the build-in speakers, and when i put the speakers it's stays in the pc and no go out... excpet this all was fine :)

do u think u have some solution for me pls?

if not which version do u think will be better with my Acer..
btw, in the Device Manager under the sound tab was the -> Vendor - 10EC and Device - 0268. under the system devices tab was -> Vendor - 8086 and Device - 27D8.

You are using Azalia right now, that`s why you dont have line-out working. You have to use custom AppleHDA kexts or patch them with Taruga`s HDA Patcher using linux codec dump. You can find it easily here or on insanelymac.

It seems like your device is Realtek ALC268 HD Audio.
