I have done the Impossible - Line in/out working on Realtek ALC860?
 

I have done, what I think, to be impossible, Line in/out working on a Realtek ALC860! Honest to god!!! What I did for the sound was I removed the AppleAzaliaAudio(Not sure how it's spelled) Kext, then I opened OSx86 Tools, Install Hardware and Drivers, and selected my audio! It worked without restarting!!! For the Line in i cheated :D, I took a SingStar Mic, and the USB Input cable and that worked to! now I have everything working and Im afraid to restart :D lol,

Tell me if there's anything I can do to help make this available to everybody, or make this a permanent fix

dang... It worked perfectly, and now since I restarted I can't get it back... I even tried re-applying the kext... any ideas?

I use a great little app called LineIn that allows my Hack's line in to work. It's only provides soft play through, so if you're into professional audio work then this will not suffice, but for general play through it works great.

this will work for a ALC860??? I NEED IT :D lol,

it doesnt work... i click on Pass Thru and i get an error, oh well everything is working right now so w/e :D
