may I ask what Expose blob is?
|
@oneshot : When you turn it on, a blue "blob" will be placed on the desktop. If you click on it - it will activate Expose. Quite useful for people used to use only mouse to navigate.

Why are you making apps that do stuff that is already in the OS?
|
And also done by other apps?
|
@pater: why do you care? If you're only here to disrespect other people's efforts, please leave this place! Thank you.

if you do all config via console commands and sys menues, thatīs your way. but i might try this app because i might be a bit leazy. and i havenīt seen this tweak for TM network drives before (havnīt searched it, tough). so i would appreciate more apps, even when their functionality overlaps. if we are all openminded, maybe all apps might even become merged as some neo osx86tools. |
Don't ask stupid questions.
Well other apps (Onyx, MacPilot ect) is targeted for system management and can also do these SOME of these functions. This is just an app to target the way your Mac looks. IE the name MacLooks. and it can also execute other tasks like TM modding.

Again, the UI elements are way too large for what they are intended for. Why such large buttons for stuff like Quit? Just hit Command + Q.
|
I also dont see much use for an app like this but if you are interested in hearing any suggestions on how to improve it, here are mine:
- UI Elements should have a functional layout, not just being scattered around the window. - Group buttons according to the their function, maybe using a tabbed interface or something similar. - If you want this to be useful to newbies, all functions could be explained in detail on what they do and change, same as you did with the SetFile and Show Drives in TM options. |
