need help installing on amd athon 64 x2 5200
 

processor amd athon 64 x 2 52oo hp m8000n.. computer
chpset nvidia
graphic nvidia 6500 series
nforce
it is a stock desktop
i need help installing..
after installing it never boot up.. stays on apple logo.. i use vodo and use the seatbelt.. nforce for chip and grahpic 6 seriesnvidioa.. nforce lan for ethernet..and alc 883 for audio..
plx help

Firstly try experimenting with boot commands (-f, -v, -x, -legacy). You should try typing in -v at the boot prompt and see what line your install freezes at.
Secondly, NForce tends to be a real pain in the @$$ for OSx86. Or so I've heard. It's possible but some patience and a few chocolate chip cookies to tide you over may be needed.

I'd definitely boot with the -v to see where it's stopping.

The thing I had lots of pain with is the video, you might try the install with generic video and just see if that boots.
