Disk Utility problem
Hi,
I'm trying to install Iatkos on my pc but when I click on Disk Utility to choose the partition on which install the OS, the list is empty. Iatkos sees no partition, both the original on which I installed Vista and the second configured for Leopard. What should I do? |
make sure it is ntfs in windows, and then format it as mac osx (journaled) on the install disk
|
Yes. The partition is NTFS but iatkos doesn't read it and so I can install Leopard nowhere. The only disk it reads is a pen drive in FAT32.
|
does it fail to see the partition or the whole disk?
in the later case the problem would be the missing chipset (ide/sata) support for your board. |

However I also think that the problem is the chipset support... I should choose the AHCI mode. |
How can I choose the AHCI mode during the installation?
I met the same problem that I can not see the target hard drive.... Thanks! |
umm you have to change it in your bios
