display settings, etc iatkos 7
 

Hi,

I am a first time poster, so please be gentle. I just got iAtkos 7 installed on a separate hard disk on my computer. Seems to be running stable except for a few issues:
1. I can't adjust the display values past 768 resolution, but I did install all of the Nvidia drivers that came with my version.
2. Shut down and restart do not work.
3. I also have had a random issue or two with internet, but I am chalking that up to an issue with my modem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and hopefully I can return the favor to someone on here soon. Here is a list of my pertinent (?) hardware:

Gigabyte GA 45 UD3P motherboard
Intel core 2 Quad Q9550 (2.83 GHz)
4 gig of RAM
Western Digial Caviar 320 GB HDD SATA (in AHCI mode)
EVGA (Nvidia chipset) GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB

install natit from iatkos. it should solve the gfx issue.
for the shutdown issue install openhaltrestart from the iatkos dvd and/or try a different kernel.

overall your system should work nicely with osx.
