Which release should i try for this notebook. I tried iAtkos v7 but display, trackpad, ethernet wifi nothing works.

Installiation of iATKOS on Sony VGN-FW170J
 

I am currently attmepting to install iATKOS v7 on a Sony Viao VGN-FW170J.
I will update this thread as progress continues. Hopefully this will help you out.

Edit:

I finally got iATKOS v7 to install. I can boot into OSX, and initial testing results in the following:
Sound works
No onboard touchpad
No onboard Keyboard
No Wi-Fi
The OS asked for a keyboard so I ran out in the garage and found an old for real Apple Mac G4 USB keyboard. All the buttons worked fine.
The USB mouse works.
I also have native support for my NTFS Vista partition.

More testing later.

Hi there JohnRichard.

How are you getting on whit this. I was so close starting the installation till I read this post. Doesnt seam to me that this work very well on the VGN-FW170J.

Guess I should just put this project on ice, or what!?

Anyone succeeded 100% installing iAKTKOS on the VGN-FW170J yet??
