P5K Pro or P5 Mobo
 

Just got my 10.6 retail. I have a running 10.5.7 and read several posts and somewhat apprehensive. I would like to upgrade it but with all the kexts that are out there and other posts referring to replacing boot files, UUID copying, etc. I was hoping that there was a straight forward guide for P5K mobo's. An upgrade guide though. I'm seeing a lot of dual boot guides (installing SL to another disk and booting to either Leopard or SL). Is there a way to successfully upgrade an existing Leopard install to SL or if I have to install to another disk migrating my apps and preferences to the SL install?

Any help and guide is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. :D
