basic graphics in x64, full graphics in x32

Install goes fine I have the gigabyte es21 blah blah blah anyway my graphics card is a gforce nvidia gs8800 and when install nvinject everything is fine except when i boot into x64 which it does by default i get no kext installed in the system properties, but if i do a -v -x32 i get full graphics. Even when I do an EFI inject I still have the same situation... Any suggestions yes I can run it on x32 but whats the point I can go back to 10.5.8 and its basically the same I installed sl for full 64 support, the card works flawlessly in win7 64bit environment so I just dont get it, thanks guys

an efi inject? EFI strings should work on both 32/64. When your done installing the EFI string, remove the nvinject. http://aquamac.proboards.com/index.c...ck1&thread=509

Yep you shouldn't have any probs, I've added a copy of my com.apple.Boot.plist for you to check with yours. efi string 8800gs only, if you use the file make sure you change uuid

thanx Ian ill try yours out, question are you guys using retail with the hidden efi part or installing it as MBR install?? Im doing the full retail maybe thats my issue

xxxslayeriiixxx 08-31-2009 06:44 AM

What do you mean full retail? Do u have 10A432? cuz thats the GM version which is retail. And most of the posters here in the forum usually use GUID partition.

JShubert683 08-31-2009 04:30 PM

Yes and I'm using a guid'd partition scheme also are you guys coping the com. file to the efi partition cause i get no change in doing so..
