after install /UUID Error 35
hello everyone
so i downloaded Snow Leopard_Retail.dmg 10.6GB and installed on my rig... i follow this guy {http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/how-to-install-os-x-10-6-10a432-t3671/} Guide, but i didn't understand line 2 to 4 about the termnal cose, i try what he said, i didn't work, i was able still install it by going to{{ /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg }} it completed but said install failure.:'( you will find this funny... i reboot the system it mac osx 10.6 snow leopard retail did install booted. with the welcome screen and i did Reg- and login try install video and lan driver, when i use kext helper b7 or terminal after install complete i get this ERROR: _CFGetHostUUID String: unable to determine UUID for HOST error 35 i get the same error when use terminal: in terminal when type: code {sudo -r} password: _CFGetHostUUID String: unable to determine UUID for HOST error 35 bash-3.2# please tell me what went wrong;::::: help..:'( Snow leopard 10.6 Running o.k. and booting.. |

i hive i7 920 w/ asus extreme II g-skill ddr3 2000mhz oc 4.2gb i'm thinking about to install on it soom.... my 10.6 snow its running on asus rampage extreme x48/Q9450 3.2 1600 t1 but still trying to get sound to work.. any ide thanks |
Install the PlatformUUID to the extras/extensions folder, or "System/Library/Extensions" Then repair permissions.

thank you x986123 for the download. 4 stars for u. Mmmm can you help me with my sound. on leopard 10.5.8 i install ADI_AD2000b.pkg and work great... would this work on snow leopard 10.6 / i'm running 64bit ver do not now how the hell i install snow leopard_reail but it runnig stable like hell. if i remember i didn't apply any patch becouse fail the installation. funny that i reboot and ajust come up booting snow leopad 10.6. O wait i did copy the boot. anyway its funny that it running. So can help me with the sound..... thanks |
I dont think it will work... If it does, 64 wont work. Have you tried VooDooHDA Audio?

i hive both : VooDooHDA_v021_64bit AD1988b.fix.kext didn't try it, i done no which one to use. how did you fix memory read, my see 1333 , the cpu is correct |

when run Pacifist file it comes back with this error: Sorry, one or more of the folloeing command-line tools was not found: /usr/bin/isbom/bin/pax, /bin/mkdir, /bin/chmod, or /usr/bin/update_prebinding. these tools are required to run the program. how i fix it |
